FitBitSync — last updated 28 August 2026.

Summary

FitBitSync is a personal tool with a single user: its author. It is not offered to the public. It does not collect data from anyone else, and it shares no data with any third party beyond the two services the user has personally connected.

Data accessed

With the user's consent, the app reads the following from the Google Health API:

How it is used

The data is written to the user's own account at intervals.icu, so that wellness metrics sit alongside their training data. It is used for no other purpose.

Storage and retention

OAuth tokens and a local cache of the metrics above are stored on hardware controlled by the user, with file permissions restricting access to a dedicated account. Nothing is stored on any shared or third-party service other than the user's own intervals.icu account. Data is retained for as long as the user keeps running the tool.

Sharing

No data is sold, published, or shared. It moves only between Google, the user's own machine, and the user's own intervals.icu account.

Google user data

Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Deleting your data

Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Local copies are deleted by removing the token file and cached data from the machine running the tool.
